Multi site test

We had a great time at the California Academy of Sciences on a Saturday in February! Parking was a breeze, and we quickly made our way to the main entrance, scanned our tickets, and stepped inside. The exhibits were amazing, with an aquarium, swamp, Africa, and rainforest area all to explore. The habitats were nicely spread out, so we never felt crowded at any one spot. There’s so much to see, so plan to spend about 6-8 hours, depending on what catches your eye. The restaurants had a good selection, though the prices were a bit higher than usual. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and the kids were worn out by the end of our visit. I’d definitely suggest checking out the California Academy of Sciences for a fun day trip if you get a chance!

I visited during the summer and had an amazing experience. We spent almost the entire day there — there’s so much to see and learn! It’s definitely a must-visit if you have kids, but adults will enjoy it just as much.

Animal lovers will especially appreciate the wide variety of exhibits, from prehistoric creatures to present-day animals and fascinating sea life. The walk-through butterfly area is absolutely beautiful, filled with lush greenery and trees from around the world. Seeing the exotic Amazonian birds up close was another highlight.

If you’re interested in astronomy, they also offer shows in their theater, which is impressive and well done. Be sure to check their website before you go — they host themed summer events. When I visited, they had dinosaurs in the garden, and the kids absolutely loved it!

A helpful tip: buying tickets online is cheaper than purchasing them on site.

The facility is clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate. Overall, it was a wonderful visit — I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

California Academy of Sciences offers an incredibly interactive experience whether you love science or just looking for a family friendly place.

I love that this place is highly engaging, you can touch some display for first hand experience which is perfect for curious kids.

There are shows at planetarium but you need to book a reservation.

You can also watch penguin feeding. There are two schedule. 10:30 and 3:30.

Tip: if you’re driving you might want to go there early to have a good space near the area.

This family fun place is on the pricey side but definitely worth it. From being immersed in the rainforest to getting the many aquarium viewed from the ocean floors. Many interactive things to do for kids and staff very knowledgeable and nice. Will definitely be back!

This place was so grand & impressive! It was the best part of our trip to San Francisco. It had enough floors to keep us occupied all day! Our favorite was the earthquake simulator & the aquarium. We definitely will be back again. It has quickly become our favorite destinations in California.
