Dr. Marc Rainbow

Dr. Marc Rainbow

Veterinarian

In 1991, Marc Rainbow received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the field of laser and optical physics. After graduation, he received a commission in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX, and Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. In 1996, Marc left active duty to pursue his veterinary education.

Marc graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in June of 2000. He completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at Texas A&M University in 2001. Marc was accepted to an Ophthalmology Residency at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, during which he also completed a Master of Science degree.

Marc finished his ophthalmology training in July 2004 and moved to San Antonio to start South Texas Veterinary Ophthalmology. In 2014 Dr. Rainbow sold his practice in San Antonio and dedicated all his time and efforts to North Houston Veterinary Ophthalmology and Animal Eye Medical & Surgical Specialists.

Dr. Jose Sanabria

Veterinarian

Dr. Jose Sanabria is an accomplished veterinarian specializing in ophthalmology, holding a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and Diplomate status from the Latin American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology (CLOVE). With advanced training in intraocular surgery, Dr. Sanabria has excelled in both general practice and specialized ophthalmic care, contributing significantly to academia as a postgraduate professor and conference speaker. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French and proficient in various veterinary software and technological tools, Dr. Sanabria is committed to fostering future veterinary professionals as a collaborator with the Veterinary Assistant/Technician Program. Outside of work, Dr. Sanabria enjoys photography, camping, and scuba diving, reflecting a diverse and adventurous spirit.

Practice Manager

Jessica graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 and has been working with animals for over 12 years. Her adventure started on the coastline of Texas, working with sea turtles, which lead her to a career with companion animals. During her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, JD, and two dogs, River and Maddie.

Ginger has been an LVT since January 2011. She has worked in Ophthalmology & Emergency medicine, helping patients feel better. When not at work, she likes to spend time with her family and fur babies.

Technician

Diana graduated with her degree in Veterinary Technology and has been in the veterinary field for 9 years. She has focused on expanding her knowledge in veterinary medicine. She has been fortunate to work with several different specialties, including surgery, internal medicine, oncology & ophthalmology. Outside of work, Diana enjoys lounging next to beautiful waters and creating apparel for women.
